she literally said it
Is it weird if I save this to my phone and text it to people when they say something I disagree with?
That way they will see exactly how I would look disagreeing with them.
I don’t think this is what GIFs were made for.
A superhero in a blue cape, with the most beautiful eyes swooped in and stole my heart.
Her superpower is the gift of kindness and compassion. Her heart is so big.
Eloise is going through a growth spurt right now so all she has been doing the last 24 hours is nursing, crying, or sleeping. This morning Emily had the saddest look on her face and when I asked her what was wrong she grabbed Ellie’s hand and said “Mama I’m sad because Eloise isn’t feeling well. I am worried about her, I don’t want her to cry, do you know why?” and when I asked why she said “Because I love her so much”
and when Ellie would start fussing she would say “don’t worry mama I’ve got this, she just needs her big sister” and she would swoop in with a song and Ellie would smile the biggest smile and all worries would disappear.
Super Emily Saves The day
If you’re talking about God, I must disagree with you.
God’s not only alive, but also all things are alive because of him, including you and me. He has revealed Himself to us everyday, every moment, and nobody can deny that.
The Bible states, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4). If these were not enough, there is also evidence of God in our own hearts. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, “…He has also set eternity in the hearts of men.” Deep within us is the recognition that there is something beyond this life and someone beyond this world. We can deny this knowledge intellectually, but God’s presence in us and all around us is still obvious.
Every culture throughout history has had some form of law. Everyone has a sense of right and wrong. Murder, lying, stealing, and immorality are almost universally rejected. Where did this sense of right and wrong come from if not from a holy God?
If these still were not enough, God also revealed Himself through Jesus who performed countless acts of compassion and public miracles to authenticate His message and bear witness to His deity (John 21:24-25). Then, three days after His crucifixion, He rose from the dead, a fact affirmed by hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:6). The historical record abounds with “proof” of who Jesus is. As the Apostle Paul said, this thing “was not done in a corner” (Acts 26:26).
I know I have to respect your opinion and beliefs, but it’s something so clear that it’s just amazing, but Bible says that there will always be skeptics who have their own ideas concerning God and will read the evidence accordingly. And there will be some whom no amount of proof will convince (Psalm 14:1). It all comes down to faith (Hebrews 11:6).
